What does the Gothenburg Pass cost?
Two variants, two pricing logics. The All-Inclusive Pass is sold by the day, the Essentials Pass by three visits. All amounts are in SEK.
Two pricing logics, one product
The Gothenburg Pass is sold in two variants, and the prices follow different rules. The All-Inclusive Pass is priced by duration: the more consecutive days you book, the cheaper each day works out. The Essentials Pass has one fixed price for three visits, however long you take to use them.
The tables below show Go City's current prices for each variant. Amounts do move: admission to the Gothenburg Tram Museum, for instance, has gone from 40 to 50 SEK.
When does the pass pay off?
The expensive items in Gothenburg aren't the museums, they're the water. The city museums range from 40 to 285 SEK, while the guided archipelago tours and the excursions to Vinga Island and around Hisingen each cost several hundred as single tickets. Do two boat tours and the day pass has practically paid for itself.
The reverse also holds: if you come in winter, when the archipelago tours pause, you're working with museum prices and need considerably more visits for the pass to pay off. The calculator below reflects exactly that distinction: tick off what actually runs during your travel dates.

Questions about the price
What currency do I pay in? +
For Gothenburg, Go City charges in SEK. At checkout you can also choose euros, US dollars or British pounds; the conversion then uses Go City's daily rate, not your bank's.
Is there a child rate? +
Yes. The child price applies from age 3 to 15, and the adult price from 16. Children under 3 don't need their own pass. Exact amounts are in the tables above.
What happens if I see less than planned? +
Go City advertises a savings guarantee: if the pass didn't end up cheaper than single tickets, you get the difference refunded. As long as the pass isn't activated, you can get a full refund within 90 days regardless.
